We fly into Denpasar, the capital of Bali. Alam Batu resort is located in north-eastern Bali, near Kubu in Karangasem province. Depending on traffic, the journey from and to Ngurah Rai Airport at Denpasar takes two to three hours. Our guests usually use our transfer service to reach our resort, but of course, you are welcome to arrange your transportation.

Day 1 - Arrival at Denpasar capital of Bali – Proceed to Alam Batu Beach Bungalow Resort!

When Doris Vermonter came to Bali in 2002, she fell in love with the island and its inhabitants. Intent on setting up her own resort, she traveled far and wide before finally discovering the bay with the black rocks that gave the resort its name. Together with her Indonesian friend Sri, she was able to lease the bay that – until then – was a barren, bleak spot with a salt works. With passion, dedication and great flair, Doris designed the resort and employed native workers to build it, bungalow by bungalow. The fruit of their labors: a wonderful place for diving and also a haven of wellbeing and relaxation.

BALI DIVING
Days 2 - 5 - Our package includes 4 night ac bungalow including full board (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) at the Alam Batu Beach Bungalow Resort.
Days 2 through 5 we will be diving for 4 days, 3/2 dives per day. 11 boat dives, and non-limit unguided house reef diving. Day 6 we will awaken early, have breakfast, and head out to our next adventure. We will be heading back South and on the way, we will do our tour of Bali:

Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Jimbaran with a stop visit at Tirta Gangga Royal Water Garden. The Tirta Gangga royal water garden is a favorite retreat in the regency of Karangasem, east Bali. It was built in 1946 during the reign of the late Raja of
Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 – 1966). Tirta Gangga saw a series of restorations following the destructive hot showers of volcanic ash from 1963. Mount Agung eruption. The lavish water gardens owned by the royal Karangasem family feature 1.2ha of pools, ponds, and fountains surrounded by neatly cut lawns adorned with stepping stones, ornate statues, and tropical gardens.
Tirta Gangga Royal Water Gardens
We continue to Taman Ujung Water Palace. Taman Ujung ‘water palace’, with its complete and official designation of Taman Sukasada Ujung, is located in the village of Seraya in Karangasem Regency. It is the sister site of Tirta Gangga, also built by the late Raja of Karangasem. The complex consists of various large pools and historic structures set against a backdrop of Mount Agung and the eastern shoreline. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
Taman Ujung Water Palace
Last stop at Kertagosa Palace is one of Bali heritage sites formerly used a justice court building during the Klungkung Kingdom period. From here you drive to Jimbaran. Jimbaran is just south of the airport and Kuta. This was formerly a real backwater of south Bali, just a tiny fishing village with a daily market. That all started to change in the 1980s and Jimbaran is now home to several world class 5 star beach resorts, plus a few more moderate mid-market hotels. The bay itself has a pleasant white sand beach and is very safe for swimming. The three clusters of grilled seafood restaurants on the beach are a major tourist draw in the evenings, as is the truly stunning sunset. On to our resort: Kertagosa Palace
